Health Coverage
Your Insurance Plan
Many insurance plans offer coverage for physical therapy and related services, but the extent of coverage can vary depending on the plan and provider. It is important to review your insurance policy to understand what services are covered, what your copay or deductible may be, and any limitations or restrictions that may apply to your treatment.
Courtesy Verification Process
Before starting services, our team can help you verify your insurance coverage and benefits. This process involves checking with your insurance provider to determine the extent of your coverage, including the number of visits allowed, any pre-authorization requirements, and potential out-of-pocket expenses. For your reference, we kindly ask that you call your insurance company ahead of time for confirmation of these benefits.
Common Insurance Terms
- Copay
- Fixed dollar amount you pay for a service at the time of your visit, as determined by your insurance plan
- Coinsurance
- Percentage of healthcare costs you are responsible for paying after any deductible has been met. For example, if your plan has 20% coinsurance, insurance pays 80% of the allowed amount and you pay the remaining 20%
- Deductible
- Specific amount of money you must pay out-of-pocket for covered expenses before your insurance policy starts paying
