Physical Therapist Assistant

Carmen brings extensive experience in physical therapy assistance and massage therapy, along with the ability to speak both Spanish and French. She graduated from Maryknoll High School in 1985 and earned her Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Spanish from the University of Hawaiʻi in 1989. She later completed the Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program at Kapiʻolani Community College and earned her Licensed Massage Therapist (L.M.T.) credential from Hawaii Massage Academy in 2010.

Carmen has worked in a variety of inpatient and outpatient physical therapy clinics throughout Oʻahu, including experience providing aquatic therapy at Rehabilitation Hospital of the Pacific. She has been a valued member of the StayFIT Physical Therapy team since November 2010.

As a massage therapist, Carmen specializes in Swedish massage, medical massage therapy, myofascial release, trigger point massage, hot stone massage, and Lomi Lomi. Her diverse background allows her to provide compassionate, personalized care while helping patients reduce tension, improve mobility, and feel their best.
